The Lake Charles plant is actively involved in a number of education system related activities including Partners in Education, the ChemExpo, Career Discovery Day, recruitment of students for craft careers, and serving on various advisory boards for schools. Several employees serve on committees and boards that help lead community improvement efforts, including Downtown Development, Quality Council, Lake Area Industry Alliance, ABC School board, Workforce Development Board, and Southwest Louisiana Construction Users Council.
